Need some ideas for skin colors? Check this out!
I wanted to do some skin color studies, so I made this big old palette from pictures I had on my camera.
I usually edit color palettes down to be easier to use, but I think keeping everything like this gives you a better way to experiment. This was made for more realistic portraits, so there are several greys you wouldn't use in cel shading.
I also included some clusters of colors: this shows how many variations show up across your skin. Feel free to use it as a reference or delete it! The clusters don't show where the skin colors go, as there are parts of the skin that are more red, yellow, or blue-grey depending on where they are on the body (like fattier areas tend to be yellow and places where more bloodcells show up are redder), so I apologize for that. Hopefully it can be helpful anyway ;w;
