Note: to use this as a pen, follow the directions listed. This is merely the material used to make the pen. It can be used to make other pens as well to custom fit your drawing preferences.
This pen is easy to use and adds a nice darker edge (semi-water color effect) to any shading or line work. Best used at moderate opacity for the full effect, but can be used at full capacity to do full shading/color blocking. Also good for snow and other effects.
This will just be another pen under that catagory.
To use this as a pen, go to "create custom sub tool" on the pen menu. Hit "ok" and it will bring up an customization menu to better tweek the brush to the desired effect. For my settings, I went to "brush shape" and then "brush tip." Then hit "material" and select this image material, "edge pen". Under "stoke" i set it to the default setting. Go to "water color edge" and set in 4 for the opacity, 2 or 3 for the darkness and about a 5 or 6 for the water color edge itself when you check the box. Under "ink" I put in color mixing, you can decide how much or little you want of this, along with the color stretch. Note: in order to use this pen in color (basically anything but black), you have to select the "color mixing" box under the "ink" selection. If you want continuous spraying, don't forget to check that box. You can test out the brush as you are fine-tuning it, so just adjust how you like, but those are the basic settings to get the effect.
