these are the 2 painting brushes i use the most these days. i dont like changing brush sizes often so they're good for fast painting or lazy painters.
press lightly for a fine, dark stroke (suited for edge control and details). press hard for a big, soft/low density stroke (suited for blending and color blocking).
tender hard is for rendering harder shapes (like objects under bright light, big planes) and tender soft is for smooth things (like skin or things in soft light).
