Use

I prepare a picture that wants to be a ① dot picture.

② "edit" → "change the resolution of the image" to drop the resolution. (Here is 1/10 size)

③ "layers" → "new correction layer" → "gradient map" to reduce the color depth with the included gradient map. (Using five colors)

I make a copy of the image on the ④.

⑤ Create another gradient map layer at the top and color it.

Create new layer on top of the ⑥ ⑤ gradient map and draw with the accompanying pens, brushes and bucket tools.

How to use gradient map

The drawing below the included gradient map layer will always be converted to the specified color depth, so it's a good idea to do it under the layer gradient map layers.

With the accompanying gradient map, you can convert image material to a simple dot picture.

アンチエイリアスを切ったペン２種と消しゴム２種、ブラシ３種、バケツツールとグラデーションマップのセットです。

※2020年4月15日　サブツール6種追加しました。

直線ツールの「角度の刻み」にチェックを入れると、ピクセルがほぼ等間隔に並べられている直線が引けます。

直線を長く描画するとズレが生じるため手動で修正する必要があります。

※45°以外の直線ツールは右上から左下に線を引くことを前提にした設定になっています。

使い方

①　ドット絵にしたい絵を用意します。

②　「編集」→「画像の解像度を変更」で解像度を落とします。（ここでは1/10サイズにしています）

③　「レイヤー」→「新規色調補正レイヤー」→「グラデーションマップ」で付属のグラデーションマップで色数を減らします。（5色使用）

④　上の画像を元に清書します。

⑤　一番上に別のグラデーションマップレイヤーを作成して彩色します。

⑥　⑤のグラデーションマップの上にレイヤーを新規作成し、付属のペンやブラシ、バケツツールを使って描き込みます。

⑦　完成

グラデーションマップの使い方

付属のグラデーションマップのレイヤーより下に描画したものは必ず指定した色数に変換されるので、彩色するまでの作業はグラデーションマップレイヤーの下で行うことをお勧めします。

付属のグラデーションマップを使うと、画像素材などを簡単なドット絵に変換できます。
