It is really easy for illustrate. In my workspace there is only what you need the most, so its easy to understand. I don't like Workspace with too much funktions, it's to complicadet.
This workspace is even easy fpr beginners.

On the Left you have all the Materials. On the Right you can see Layers, Navigator, Color Palettes, Tools, tool properties and Brush sizes.
You can easy move the lavers and navigator on the left size. Or you move the colors and brushes to one site.

This it looks after you move it. If you want to chance the sites from tools and layers you even can do that :)
