Blending Mode Change Layers
This action set quickly adds a White fill layer on Multiply, a 50% Gray fill layer on Overlay, or a Black Fill layer on either Add or Glow.
At these settings, brushes that are set to blend with the background color will look transparent but blend with the canvas color.
I use black on the white in order to make a softer texture to blend with the background. Shades of grey on the Overlay Layers, and dark colors on either the Add or the Glow in order to softly lighten the canvas in needed.
