GOLD Materials: Posting to Clip Studio ASSETS/Plugin Store

If you are not yet eligible to post, please be sure to read from the beginning of this article. You will need to go through a user screening process in order to become eligible to post products/materials.

If you are already eligible, please read the Getting Startedsection for information on how to use the service (how to receive payout, posting your second material/product onwards, updating information, etc.).

What are GOLD materials?

GOLD Materials are items that can be purchased using GOLD points on the Clip Studio ASSETS and Plugin Store services. If you post your product/material to either Clip Studio ASSETS or the Plugin Store, you will be paid 70% of the sale amount according to the number of materials/products sold.

Note: If you are already eligible to post to either Clip Studio ASSETS or the Plugin Store, you can also sell your work on the other service. There is no need to re-apply.

Before you can post your products/materials, you will need to pass the following two screening processes.

  • 1) User Screening: This review determines the user’s eligibility to post GOLD Materials. This is only required for the first time you post a product/material, and will not be required for any subsequent posts.
  • 2) Content Screening: This is a review of the content of each material or plugin and determines whether it is suitable to be published.

Process from User Screening to Getting Started

1) Things to prepare before the user screening process:

  • For Clip Studio ASSETS:
    For the user screening process, you must have a number of paid materials for Clip Studio software available.
  • For the Plugin Store:
    Within three days before the user screening process, you must send us an email with your plugins and their format(s). Please prepare this in advance.

2) Applying for user screening

Please read the following pages before submitting your application to post GOLD Materials.

The user screening will be conducted in accordance with the GOLD Material Sale Terms of Service.

Note: Once you have applied for your user screening, please send us your plugin within three days (for first time plugin submissions, the user screening and content screening will be conducted at the same time). Please set the price in GOLD you wish to sell your plugin for between 10 and 20,000 GOLD (in increments of 10 GOLD) in accordance with the Sales Payout and Clip Studio ASSETS rules. Please send any further plugins once you have passed the initial screening.

You are currently in the user screening process, or you have already applied for the user screening process. If you are currently in the user screening process, please wait for it to be completed (and do not send any further plugin data until the process is over).

3. Sending and returning the contract

If you are found to be eligible, you will be sent contract documents to review. Please fill out your details and return the documents to us.

4. Notification of screening results

Once the user screening process has been completed, you will be informed of the results.

5. Posting

  • For Clip Studio ASSETS:
    ・You can start uploading GOLD Materials as soon as the User Screening process is complete.
    ・Please make sure that the settings for GOLD Materials are displayed on the screen when you post.
    ・The content screening process will start when you upload your product/material. Once the content screening process is completed, your product/material will be published. ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.
  • For the Plugin Store:
    ・Celsys will prepare the plugin(s) (that were sent within three days of the user screening only) for publication as soon as the user screening process is over. ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.

Getting Started

1. Payout from sales

You can check your balance and request payout from My GOLD Sales on your Clip Studio Account page.

2. Your second post onwards

  • For Clip Studio ASSETS:
    ・Please upload your material(s) after setting them as GOLD Materials from Publish to ASSETS. ・The screening process will start once you upload your material(s). Once the screening process is completed, your material(s) will be published. ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.
  • For the Plugin Store:
    ・Send the plugin data by email to the following address: support@celsys.com .
    ・Please follow the same rules as the first time (see “Please send the plugin within three days of registering its information as below” in the link) and send us an email with the necessary information.
    Note: You will not be required to re-apply for the user screening process (the “Click here to apply to sell Plugins for GOLD” link leads to the eligibility screening page, so an error message will appear). ・Please only send the data via email.
    ・If you are currently in the user screening process, please wait for the completion of the process before sending any further plugin data.     ・Once the content screening process is completed, your plugin will be published. ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.

3. Updating and deleting products/materials

  • For Clip Studio ASSETS:
    ・You can edit, update (replace material data), and delete information from the My Uploads menu.
    ・In the case of editing or updating a material, you will need to go through the content screening process again before it is published. Once the screening process is completed, your material will be published.
    ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.
  • For the Plugin Store:
    Please contact us as below:
    　・Email address: support@celsys.com
    　・Subject: Plugin Update Request: Clip Studio Account Handle
    　 Example: Plugin Update Request: Taro Celsys
    　・Body: Please include the following information.
    　 1) The email address registered to Clip Studio
    　 2) The name of the plugin you would like to change
    　 3) Details of the change (to edit information, change the GOLD price, update/replace the plugin data, delete, etc.)
    ・Please also send the plugin and format as necessary.
    Once the screening process is complete, your material will be published.
    ・Upon publication, you will receive an email.

4. Changing your information

  • You can change your address, phone number, and bank account information from GOLD Materials on your Clip Studio Account page.
  • However, please note that changes cannot be made within 14 days of registration or the last update to your information.

5. If you want to post on both Clip Studio ASSETS and the Plugin Store services

  • If you are already eligible to post to either Clip Studio ASSETS or the Plugin Store, you can also sell your work on the other service. There is no need to re-apply.
  • If you are applying for the first time, please apply from one of the services.
