A perennial evergreen subshrub or shrub of the Asteraceae family and the genus Garland Chrysanthemum.
Garland chrysanthemum is native to the Canary Islands in North Africa and was later introduced to subtropical regions of northeastern Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America.
