Use the brighter colors for the sun and slowly change it to darker color as it gets farther away from it. The city buildings' shadows should be dark purple. Clouds above the sun should be dark purple on top as well, with a little yellow bouncing at the bottom. Combine it with lens effects for a better atmosphere composition.
