Hello, everyone!
I noticed a lack of specific palettes for fantasy hair colors, so I developed this set to streamline the character design process. This palette is organized into triads (groups of 3 colors), utilizing the following logic:
2 Analogous Colors: For blending and depth.
1 Contrast Color: For dynamic highlights, streaks, or accessories.
Base Layer: Use the mid-tone analogous color for your flat shapes.
Shading: On a 'Normal' layer above the flat colors, apply the darker analogous shade to define volume.
Lighting/FX: Use the contrast color on a 'Hard Light' or 'Overlay' layer for vibrant lighting.
Accents: Alternatively, use the contrast color on a 'Normal' layer for multi-colored hair streaks or hair accessories to ensure visual harmony.
