It is a gradient set with 12 colors created from HLS.
The figure below is an example of its use in grisaille.
Gradient configuration:
- position 000 = purple (HLS 270, 50, 50)
- Position 050 = each color (HLS 0-330, 70, 70)
- Position 100 = yellow (HLS 60, 90, 90)
The darker the color, the more purple, and the lighter the color, the closer it is to yellow.
