A simple worksheet to use for self-studying Japanese anime notations that would be written down on either a timesheet or on layout animation paper
This practice sheet template will allow you to have a letter sized worksheet (8.5in x 11in) to either print out or draw directly on in Clip Studio Paint.
1. New File
- With a new file open, select 'illustration' for the Project
- Fill out the Width, Height, Resolution, and Paper color as the below image
- Check the 'Template' option, and select the 'Animation Notation Practice
Sheet' material
2. Add to presets for repeated usage
- Press the 'Add to presets' button
- Name this preset to Anime Notation Practice Sheet
- Ensure that Resolution, Template, Paper color, and Basic expression color
are checked
- Confirm with OK
3. Setup Complete
- The practice sheet dimensions should fit appropriately
- Double check that the layer order matches the screenshot below
- Begin writing notations for self-study
