顔彩と水彩との違いは、接着剤のようなものの違い。色の粉（顔料）を使うのは一緒だけど、水彩はアラビアゴム（樹）、顔彩は膠（にかわ）など、動物や魚の骨を煮出して作った日本古来のものを使ってるそう。

正直個人的には、アナログでの水彩と顔彩の使い勝手の違いが分かりませんが、顔彩はやはり日本の絵具なので、日本の伝統的な色彩があるので、日本画ぽくしたいなら顔彩が良いと思います。そのほかにも蛍光色やパール系もあるみたい。水彩よりも顔彩の方がやってる感があって個人的には合ってました゜-゜)アナログ顔彩もぜひ。
