A sample of each gradient. The left side of the frame is usually 100% layer opacity, and the right side is the example of applying a color layer opacity of 50%.
Although not in the sample, it can also be used for coloring cartoons drawn in monochrome and gray.
The "five-city Neon City" in this set is applied in the new correction layer, and it becomes a sample when the layer mode is "color", and the opacity is 50%. That's the picture below.
Another option is to apply "2 spring Merry" and make the layer mode "division" opacity to 75%...
It became the color taste like the sweet.
In this way, you can enjoy processing not only in color mode but also in other layer modes.
My recommended layer modes are four types: comparison (light), Comparison (dark), division, and color.

各グラデーションの見本です。一枠の中の左側が通常レイヤー不透明度100%、右側がカラーレイヤー不透明度50%を適用した例になります。
見本にはありませんが、モノクロやグレースケールで描いた漫画の色付けにも使えます。
こちらにこのセットに入っている「5 都会のネオン街」を新規色調補正レイヤーで適用し、レイヤーモードを「カラー」、不透明度を50%にすると見本のようになります。それが下の画像です。
他にも、「2 春の陽気」を適用し、レイヤーモードを「除算」不透明度75％にすると…
あま〜いお菓子のような色味になりました。
このように、カラーモードだけでなく他のレイヤーモードでも楽しく加工できます。
私がおすすめするレイヤーモードは「比較(明)」「比較(暗)」「除算」「カラー」の4種類です。
