A moss covered forest floor with fungal growth coming through
On a cold day, hiking through the forest I came across this soft and springy floor near a beaver trail. The textures were unqiue and when seen from a ground eye-level, the topography felt far more grand than the 5m area it inhabited.
This piece can be used for textures, colour reference, a background for micro lands or even as line art inspiration for a mountainous region with giant trees ( like an Elden Tree)
As it hails from the same region as the forest marshlands I've decided that so long as the Marsh series remains free, this piece will do so as part of the group.
