Workspace 514 [digital painting]

Content ID:1883690

  • Free
You cannot use this material in Simple Mode for the smartphone or tablet version of Clip Studio Paint.

My personal workspace I'm content with and which you may be content with too. This is for digital painting without animation involved.

Entire purpose of this thing is to reduce possible sub-menus navigation and give most used stuff more focused position without sacrificing actual workspace.

Points of interest [color]:
  • Color Set on the left; can be safely switched to Color Wheel if you're up to that.
  • Right next to the Color Set is Color History tab.
  • At the right side latest tab is Intermediate color - that way you can have it at the screen without need to constantly switch to color picker mentioned above.
Points of interest [tools]:
  • Brush size is attached to the bottom part of the screen.
  • Everything related to Animation is hidden from the workspace.
  • Bottom screen canvas operations are hidden; you can use same stuff right under Navigator.
  • Bottom right corner neatly informs about system and CSP memory usage.
  • Layer Properties is right next to Navigator, and everything else is right next to Layers in respective tabs.
Points of interest [command bar]:
  • Command bar is the thing right above canvas.
  • It's mostly default, just some buttons are dragged there for ease of access: layer selection tools, vector display tools, canvas size to fit screen or fit print size, Quick Access and Sub View shortcuts.
  • Quick Access and Sub View are not attached to anything and will just "float"; I'm finding this use of them most convenient, but you may drop them whenever you want.
  • Left part of Command bar has 3 shortcuts: open CLIP STUDIO, hide menu (to give workspace even more space), and open CSP settings.
