sweet and simple pebble brush
After a big, complicated brush for filling things with stones and pebbles it's time for something sweet and simple :)
This single-color pebble brush will do just fine in more realistic settings, but it's crafted with more stylized illustrations in mind.
For pebbles to be flatter you need to tilt your pen - straighten it for rounder shapes. Press harder for increased density.
The brush works very well as a simple spray of colorful shapes, but also looks great with Watercolor Edge switched on (+ optional thin Border Effect).
I recommend using bigger canvas sizes (for smoother edges after the image is shrunk) and more careful layering for optimal effect.
You can also use this brush for black-and-white drawings - to achieve the effect below you need to start with color or gray layer and use light to medium value color with a dark, opaque watercolor edge - and then switch to Monochrome Expression.
