This is a personal brush I made some time ago after not finding anything that fit my workflow, it's based off the basic round brush with a little custom texture I made to allow for smooth blending and transitions. More details can be found in the explanation section!
I made this brush with the intention of painting characters, and everything that involves them including clothes, armor, accessories, weapons, etc; this also includes creatures or animals both with fur and with skin or scales, monsters, and so on, and also background elements such as furniture, textures, items or other individual elements such as walls, wood, flooring, leaves, flowers. Fluids such as sweat or water are also handled with this brush, and basically every other particle or material you can think of. Once you learn how to use it I'm sure you will find it very flexible and adaptive.
I use it for absolutely everything from sketching to finishing and since I made this brush it's the only one I use to paint, and very comfortably. The only time I switch to other brushes is when I paint landscapes as the process is different in that case and can't be handled effectively with just one brush with the technique I use, as I prefer using texture brushes for that instead to save time.
It responds perfectly to pen pressure, although results may vary depending on the settings you have for yours. Below is the setting I use for mine. The usage example below is based on this configuration. I use a wacom tablet. I hope you find this useful!
