Just click delete on your keyboard on paint layer to get rid of existing paint.
It is there just for an example (I have tried various watery brushes). Paint layer is set to multiply and has a fringe effect turned on, but you can experiment with different blending modes if you want, this one just seemed to work the best for me :)
As long as you keep the ‘’paper'’ folder above other layers, you’re good to go.
