This simple auto action can blend the color from the background. It only works for the background.

in this. It has two auto actions. Upward blend  and sideward blend 

for upward blend. 

and for sideward blend

to start blending. firstly is to be one the layer that you want to bend the color.
next just press the start auto action, and i think that is all
