All brushes have color mixing on by default. I've made this visible in the subtool menu so you can easily toggle it on or off, however! Below are examples of all 6 brushes. I recommend you experiment with the brushtip angle, which has also been made visible in the subtool menu! Rotating this angle will change which side is the hard edge and which side is the soft edge.
I have found that the heart brushes are very good for quickly drawing hair and foliage.
Nothing about the color properties have been changed at all, only the mixing which can be easily adjusted in the side panel, so feel free to use it as you would normally use a default pen!
