It's a 20x20 grid of 1 meter wide, 12.5 meter tall grid squares that can be individually posed in order to plan background construction (as a planar aid) or as a background of their own, if you want to do surreal artwork.
Each square is individually selectable, hold the [SHIFT] key and click each square in order to select multiple:
