I have been experimenting with larger pixel art lately and made these brushes to help out with quick background sketching. While I suggest to use them for leaves or water texture, I think you can use them for anything: hair texture, rock texture, ground texture, anything that needs an organic spray touch to it. Feel free to experiment with these and change the settings to whatever you need. :D

Each example has a Large version (zoom 200%) & a small version (zoom 100%).
1. Leaves - Thickness Variation. The thickness of the "leaves" vary by pressure and randomness, both can be turned off.
2. Scraggly Leaves - these stay at one size & thickness and are crunchy at low pressure unlike 1. I like it for vines and other leaves with lots of spaces in them.
3. Leaves Following Lines - The oval tip flows with the line. The angle can be changed to horizontal or vertical following, or diagonal. :o Good for moss.
4. Grass Spray - a thin tip spray at 1px width! Perfect for making teeny tiny blades of grass.
For a neat organized look, I have a few grass brushes in the [85 Pixel Tile Brushes] set: https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=1811052 . Those are repeating patterns that are good for tiles for games.
5. Thin Following Lines. I like this for water textures and post-impressionist techniques.
4 + 5, the water is the Thin Following Lines (5) & the grass is the grass spray (4)
The thickness changes with pressure, but you can turn it off for lines of 1px lines!
6. Triangular Spray
7. Triangle Following Line - The same tip as the triangular tip, but follows the line.
8. Horizontal Oval - Rectangular ovals that stay horizontal. I think they look good as scales. They, like the other brushes, can be used for any texture you can think of though. Don't be afraid to experiment!
Generally, I use these for marking out where I want leaves, then coming back and defining them better later. Without definition, they look impressionistic, great for soft scenery and backgrounds.
