This is the fancy version of my previous brush. This is simultaneously my favorite brush and the one that frustrates me the most. It's hard to control, but when you get it right, it's magic.

This version has multiple main brush tips for a more organic shape to the edges, but the real magic is in the collection of pigment tips. All of them were scanned from real watercolor samples I painted, but there's a wide collection of shapes—and in combination, they produce an effect very much like a granulating watercolor paint. The free version builds to a nice smooth wash; this one builds texture too.

Because it's an effect of the brush tip layering, the granulation is completely organic and random—it won't repeat the way a texture will. It's also controllable in a way real watercolor is not: building with slow, low-pressure movement will decrease the effect, and more pressure will add more texture. Eventually with more pressure you'll get a mass tone instead.

The added texture also hides edges better, so you don't have to do an entire area in one go.

It's also tilt enabled. Tilting the stylus to vertical makes the pigment tips smaller, yielding a more speckled texture to the paint; laying it on its side gives big, chunky granulation.

Also, the texture is twice the resolution of the free one. I've set it to 50% so that the free one can be used seamlessly alongside these, but you can bump that up for larger canvases without it going quite so fuzzy so fast.

As with the free one, pressure controls both water and pigment; it's fairly natural once you get the hang of it. Because it's a continuous spray, speed also matters—more than the free one, since this one has much more texture to its nozzles.

Because this brush can be frustrating to control, I've put five variations in this pack. Four of them differ only by the brush tip opacity, so that you can quickly and easily swap to an easier to control version when you don't want as much texture. The fifth one has the continuous spray turned off on the pigment nozzle, so it's a little easier to use when you really want that super chunky texture.
