If you take a picture of line art, the shadow of the camera is auto action that might be useful when it's ruined. 線画を写真で撮ったらカメラの影が入ってしまって台無しになった時に役に立つかもしれないオートアクションです

When I took a picture of a manuscript or a draft line, the camera's "shadow" was penetrated.
A auto action that may be used when you want to erase a shadow and leave only a line.
I think you can use it to clean the scanned line.


Even such a bad photograph, it easily like this (2000px × 2000px 25% shrink display gaussian blur 40)
Because the image is rough and noisy, I have to do something further from here.


Playing auto action
You will see the gaussian blur settings, so please enter a suitable number
The completion is in the folder.

Some folders
"Level correction layer" and "threshold (binary) layer" are added in the hidden state
If you want to thicken the lines, see level correction layer
If you want to make the two values black, you should show the threshold value (double) layer.
You can also change the number level correction layer or the threshold layer.
"This is all right! Select the folder and try to merge the selected layers.

There is not it in the explanation figure,
We have added a "gaussian blur" with the "level correction layer" displayed.

Use

Please prepare the image which is in the shadow.
Select a layer of shaded image in the layer palette
Play auto action
Sample image size (2400px × 2400px 25% reduced display)


When you play the auto action you'll see the gaussian blur setting
The default value is "16", but you enter a number between 5 and 200
Try to be a reasonable line

A layer of finished line in the folder and
"Level correction layer" and "threshold (binary) layer" have been added in a hidden state

Please use "level correction layer" and "threshold (double-valued) layer" for your liking.

If you have a line of your choice
Select the folder "Trace" in the Layer palette
Select "Join selected layers" on the layer menu to make it a line-drawing layer.




"Using samples for more detailed usage"

Under fluorescent light. I was not able to shadow the way I thought, I also use CLIP to add a shadow
I'm sorry to have tried to make a shadow in an impossible position.
(All samples are scaled down to 25% and level correction layer are displayed.)

I tried to re-try the shadow.
I have picked up a lot of dark digital noise ( The result is added at the end)

Pencil and milli Pen
It's obvious, but the crisp milli pen is more clearly.
The colored lines are also good.




Colored paper
If it has a color in the whole, it's stripped out like a shadow.


The first "rat" image is also a thin, light-blue paper,
The white balance of the camera doesn't seem to be able to be determined.

Border
The border of the one with the note does not disappear. Or rather floating




gaussian blur number
The higher the number of gaussian blur, the more dense and thick lines are represented.
It is easy to pick up garbage.


Paper's Broken Eyes
I am not good at paper's broken eyes and overlapping paper.

I tried to turn off the shadows, but the sharp shadows on the border never disappeared.
The changing of the color loosely and gently without boundaries seems to go away.
It looks good when I photograph it based on it.
You can use scanned images, not photos, of course.
It can also be used for pictures picked up online.


Conclusion

First of all, it might be impossible to take the line drawing by the illustration with the photograph.
You may be able to use a scanner, or maybe you can use it to make a little material.
The creation of the auto action itself has not taken half an hour.

It was realized that it is very difficult to take a picture of the shadow that I think in the photograph.

The result of "re-challenge"

When I made a shadow with a fluorescent lamp, the amount of the total light decreased and I was able to generate a lot of digital noise.
It is not a reflection of the photograph which thinks still.
I don't think there's any way to make a shadow of it.
I think that it is understood that it can extract the line in its own way even if it is blast to line drawing.





I think that it is terrible not to know the difference of the difference of the extraction of the line in a bright part and a dark part.
I think it is magic line extraction for the one that it was a hard time and did what of level correction up to now.

In the explanation, it is "pencil", but it is really "mechanical pencil".

影を消して線だけを残したいときに使えるかもしれない「オートアクション」です
スキャンした線画をキレイにするのにも使えると思います


こんなダメダメな写真でも、簡単にこんなふうに　（2000px × 2000px 25%縮小表示　ガウスぼかし 40 ）
画像が荒くノイズだらけなのでここからさらになんとかしなければなりませんが・・


オートアクションを再生すると
ガウスぼかしの設定が表示されますので、適当な数値を入力してください
出来上がりはフォルダーの中に収まっています

フォルダーの中には
「レベル補正レイヤー」と「閾値（２値化）レイヤー」が非表示の状態で追加されていますので
線を濃くする場合は「レベル補正レイヤー」を表示に
さらに黒の２値にする場合は「閾値（２値化）レイヤー）を表示にしてください
レベル補正レイヤーも閾値レイヤーも数値を変更することができます
「これでよし！」と思いましたらフォルダーを選択して「選択中のレイヤーを結合」してください

※説明の図にはありませんが
「レベル補正レイヤー」を表示した状態で「ガウスぼかし」を行うものを追加してます
説図の作業後に追加したものです（仕上がりは全く同じものです）


「使い方」

影の入ってしまった画像を用意してください
レイヤーパレットで影の入った画像のレイヤーを選択しておきます
オートアクションを「再生」します
サンプルの画像サイズは（2400px × 2400px 25%縮小表示）


オートアクションを再生すると「ガウスぼかし」の設定が表示されます
初期値は「16」が入力されていますが５〜200の数値を入力して
程よい線になるようにしてください

フォルダに完成した線画のレイヤーと
「レベル補正レイヤー」と「閾値（２値化）レイヤー」が非表示の状態で追加されています

「レベル補正レイヤー」と「閾値（２値化）レイヤー」はお好みで利用してください

好みの線画が出来上がりましたら
レイヤーパレットで「trace」というフォルダーを選択して
レイヤーメニューの「選択中のレイヤーを結合」を選んで線画のレイヤーにします




「サンプルを使ってさらに細かな使い方」

蛍光灯の下。思ったような影ができなかったので、CLIPを使って影を追加したりもしてます
影を作ろうと無理な体勢で頑張ったのに残念でなりません
（サンプルはすべて 25%に縮小し レベル補正レイヤーを表示 にした画像です）

「影」に再挑戦してみました
暗くデジタルのノイズを多く拾ってしまいましたが（結果は最後に追加してます）

「えんぴつ」と「ミリペン」
当たり前なのですが、くっきりとしたミリペンはよりクッキリします
色付きの線も良さそうです




「色の付いた紙」
全体に色が付いている場合は影と同じように取り除かれてしまいます


はじめの「ネズミ」の画像も薄い水色の紙なのですが
カメラのホワイトバランスでは判別できなかったように思えます

「罫線」
ノートに付きものの罫線は消えません。というか浮き上がります




「ガウスぼかしの数値」
ガウスぼかしの数値を高くすると緻密な線、太い線などが表現されますが
ゴミも拾いやすくはなります


「紙の折れ目」
「紙の折れ目」「重なった紙」なども苦手です
苦手というかとてもよく拾います




影を消すとはしましたが、境目のくっきりした影は消えません
境目のないゆるくなだらかに色の変化したものがうまく消えるようです
それを踏まえて写真にすると良さそうです
写真でなく、スキャンした画像ももちろん使用できます
ネットで拾った写真にも使えます


おわりに

イラストで、線画を写真で撮るということがまず、ありえないことかもしれません
スキャナーが使えないものとか、ちょっとした資料作りには使えるかもかもしれません
オートアクションの作成自体には30分もかかっていません
めずらしくコマンドも短いですし
しかし説明の素材作りなどに１週間以上かかってしまいました
写真で考えてるような影を撮るのはとても難しいと思い知らされました
サムネイルも地味なので泣きそうです

30分とか書きましたが
ここに至るまでは、ながーいながーい年月がかかっています
いくつもの不安定な思いつきを試しては失敗を繰り返し
影を消すには「階調の反転」をしてなどと忘れた頃にやり始めたのですが
「あ、できた」
突然できますね　ホントにできたのかな？　と、テストを繰り返して
やっと公開

公開直前に追加したセット内容です
「線画を撮ったら影が入ったので消す」（オートアクション）

なんてタイトルにしてよいやらよくわかりませんでしたので
まんまです


「再挑戦」の結果

蛍光灯で影を作ると全体の光量が減少してしまいデジタルのノイズが多く発生してしまいました
まだまだ思っているような写真映りにはなっていません
わざわざ影を作るなんてことはないとは思いますが
線画におもいっきりかかっていてもそれなりに線を抽出できることがわかるのではと思います





明るい部分と暗い部分で線の抽出の差の違いがそんなにわからないのがスゴイと思います
いままでレベル補正だの何だのと散々やって苦労したものにとっては魔法の線抽出だと思います

説明では「えんぴつ」としてますが、ホントは「シャープペンシル」です
